Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By ordering any product from Outset Editions, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian.

All personal information provided to us is handled responsibly and used only to process orders, arrange delivery, and offer information related to our publishing catalog. We do not share your personal information with third parties.

You may request correction or deletion of your information at any time.


2. Payments

Payments are securely processed through Shopify.

Pre-orders are charged immediately at the time of purchase.

The price applicable is the price displayed at checkout at the time your order is placed.

Shipping costs and any payment fees will be shown before your order is confirmed.

After completing your payment, you will receive an order confirmation email.

Once your order is processed and shipped, you will receive a second email containing your tracking number.


3. Shipping & Delivery

Where We Ship
Outset Editions ships within the European Union and to the United States.

Processing Time
All orders ship within 2–3 business days after the order is received.

Pre-orders ship on the product launch date.

Packaging
Books are shipped in protective envelopes or reinforced book mailers to ensure safe delivery.


3.1 Shipping Within the EU
EU orders are shipped via UPS or PostNL with tracked delivery.

• Estimated delivery time: 2–8 business days, depending on the destination.

• Local Netherlands delivery: 1–3 business days.

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout.


3.2 Shipping to the United States (USA)
U.S. orders are shipped via UPS international service.

• Estimated transit time: 3–5 business days (excluding processing time)

• Tracking information will be provided once your order ships

• Delivery time may vary due to customs processing or seasonal carrier delays

Customs & Duties (USA)
Printed books (HS Code 4901990000) are duty-free when imported into the United States.

Customers will not be charged import duties on book shipments. However, any unexpected carrier-imposed handling charges remain the responsibility of the recipient.

Multiple-Book Orders
Shipping costs to the U.S. are weight-based.

To ensure accurate rates and secure packaging, online orders are limited to a maximum of two (2) books per order.

For bulk or wholesale orders of 3 or more books, please contact us at info@outseteditions.com for a custom shipping quote.


3.3 Delayed or Missing Orders

If your order has not arrived within the estimated time frame, please contact us at info@outseteditions.com with your order number.

We will assist in opening an investigation with the carrier.


4. Return Policy

Damaged Items
If your book arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days with clear photographs of the issue.

We will send a replacement free of charge.

Due to international shipping costs, we do not require damaged items to be returned.

Incorrect Items
If an incorrect product is delivered, please notify us within 14 days. We will correct the issue promptly.

General Returns
We do not accept general returns for undamaged items on international orders.

For EU customers, returns of undamaged items may be accepted only if agreed upon in advance.

Return shipping for non-damaged items is the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds will be issued for approved returns only after the item is received in resellable condition.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
